Davis, Zachary
Zachary Davis is Associate Professor of Philosophy at St. John’s University. His research interests have focused on social/political philosophy and phenomenology, with particular interest in the thought of Max Scheler. He has published articles in these areas, including most recently "Max Scheler," Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy, “Scheler on the Moral and Political Significance of the Emotions,” Oxford Handbook for the History of Phenomenology, and “Max Scheler and Pragmatism,” Pragmatic Perspectives in Phenomenology. He is also the president of the Max Scheler Society of North America.
