Villena, Isabel de, O.S.C., abbess of the Santa Trinitat Convent in Valencia and most important female writer in Catalan language during the Middle Ages, born 1430, died 1490 in Valencia, Kingdom of Valencia. She wrote several religious treatises. The most important one of them is the "Vita Christi" (Life of Jesus Christ).
